Master Didi and Patricia Gianocaro
Master Didi has been honoured worldwide for his service to Lambada as a pioneer, performer with the KAOMA company that launched Lambada internationally, co-presenter of the Brazouka Beach Festivals with his brother Master Braz. He was the innovator of many steps still danced today, and continues to teach, perform and promote Lambada with his partner – the highly talented and engaging Patricia Gianocaro.
Patricia Lira
Patricia Lira is based in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she has taught Lambada for decades, most often with her twin sons Rodrigo and Felipe. The trio has become known as ‘Familia Lira’. Patricia has organized many Congresses and Festivals in Brazil, notably several Berg Festivals in Porto Seguro, Brazil, The first Brazouka Beach Festival in Porto Seguro, and The Lambada Congress in Vitoria, Brazil. She is known to American students through her visits to US Congresses and Festivals.
Ricardo Ferrari
Ricardo Ferrari is one of the most highly respected veterans of Lambada in the world. He established ‘Movimento Lambazouk’ in Sao Paulo a number of years ago, and has continued to teach, perform and organize and promote Lambada both in Brazil and Internationally. He is one of the organizers of the Lambada Congress in Vitoria, Brazil.
Romina Hidalgo
Romina is based in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She learned to dance lambada as a child, taught by Gilson Damasco, and she has become one of the most highly respected dancers in the field. Romina has taught Lambada live and online for many years. She has travelled widely internationally to teach workshops in countries from Japan to Switzerland. She has organized several editions of the Buenos Aires Congress.
Xavi and Laura
Xavi and Laura are well-known teachers, performers and organizers. This energetic couple has maintained a dance school in Barcelona, Spain for many years. They also ran highly successful annual Congresses both in Barcelona center and also Beach Festivals in Santa Susanna.
Leon Gordin
Leon Gordin has danced, taught and performed Lambada in his native Israel and internationally for more than a decade. He is also a highly-respected Lambada DJ. Facebook
